Arcadia, Washington, DC
  • Senior Applied Scientist, Energy Analytics
  • Led technical design and development of a linear programming-based API product to optimize battery dispatch for a given utility tariff, solar installation, and consumption profile (now delivering >10,000 results per month to production customers).
  • Spearheaded software engineering and data science work on a service to predict both annual consumption and synthetic 15-minute-resolution intervals for a given building profile and/or utility account.
  • Took significant individual initiative, winning three company-wide awards at internal hackathons for projects that served as the basis for these new products.

  • Postdoctoral Fellow
  • Researched ML approaches to parameterize subgrid-scale processes in ocean models with M2LInES.
  • Published a first-author paper on symbolic regression and an evaluation framework now actively used by others at M2LInES.
